2018第二届英语节启动以来，初中年级以“体验·合作 走进新时代”为主题，班级与年级两个层面的英语活动相继推出，学习向课堂外最大化延伸，一场场活动精彩纷呈。
Since the second English Festival of Jinshan WFLS was officially launched, based on the theme——“Experience, Cooperate and Step into a New Era”, English activities in classes and grades have been conducted in the middle school. Learning is fully extended in classes and various wonderful activities are continuously performing.
经过两周激烈的班级全员赛，角逐出参与决赛的优秀选手。六年级的模仿比赛，七年级的演讲比赛，初赛的精彩片断，让大家惊叹金外学子出色的英语表达能力和舞台表现力，也更期待决赛中选手们的表现。
Through two weeks’ intense class competitions, outstanding students who can participate in the final contest were selected. The wonderful reviews of the preliminary contests, the imitation contests in Grade 6 and the speech contests in Grade 7, made everyone appreciate the outstanding English expression and stage performance of students in Jinshan WFLS. We are all looking forward to the performance of the participants in the finals.
12月17日，六年级开展了模仿比赛决赛。经过严格选拔的16名选手通过模仿童话故事、动画电影、课本剧等内容，借助道具、服装、影像等形式，呈现出了丰富多彩的表演形式，赢得阵阵掌声。初中英语教研组组长屠佳恺老师对这次活动进行了总结，他强调口语练习的重要性，并表达了对同学们今后学习成长的殷切希望。
On December 17th, the final imitation contest was launched in Grade 6. 16 carefully selected contestants imitated fairy tales, animated films, speeches, textbooks and other contents to present a variety of performances by using props, dubbing, movements and other various forms, and won bursts of applause. Mr. Tu, the leader of the junior high school English teaching and research group, summarized the activity, emphasized the importance of practice, and expressed his ardent hope for the future English learning of the students.

12月18日，七年级演讲比赛的决赛现场，12位选手各显其能，以流利纯正的英语口语，表达出了自己对“体验·合作”的独特见解，每位选手都流畅地回答了评委们的即兴提问。Kyle老师对选手们的表现进行了总结点评，并鼓励学生们去发现自身潜能，争取更大的提高。
On December 18th, in the final speech contest of Grade 7, 12 contestants fluently expressed their unique insights on “Experience and Cooperate” and replied fluently to the judges’ impromptu questions in pure English. Teacher Kyle gave a summary of the performance of the contestants and encouraged the students to find their potentials to develop themselves.
